It is the band’s first single from their third studio album, Hands All Over released on September 21, 2010. The song is about the narrator finding himself in a difficult situation when a relationship fades. After reading the Rolling Stone article, which described their forthcoming record as their brightest-sounding and poppiest album yet, we were expecting a slightly different sound.
