The artist tried to depict how Barbie would look like without makeup. As a result, the audience could see that Barbie had circles under her eyes, freckles, swollen skin, and even braces. And the journalists remarked that that was exactly the way virtually any beautiful girl looked like in the morning.
We can only wonder if this Barbie could have the same number of fans, and whether it would be an “icon of style” for little girls, if it happened to be on sale?
