At 37 Victoria Beckham is into girls now more than she has ever been in her life before. Her first baby girl after three boys with David Beckham (Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6) is coming on fast, expected in a couple of weeks’ time. The parents – who have crazy amounts of testosterone in their house, as Posh said on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night show in February – are delighted.
Her Victoria clothes line is certainly going to benefit from the changes in the family too. Known for her preference for dark stylish dresses, the designer is breaking new grounds with her upcoming new collection. She deems it to be her “most girly collection,” as she recently described it to Women’s Wear Daily.
The new line is going to cater to females of most ages and sizes and offer clothing of the comfortable everyday wear type. According to WWD, it will be “something less tight and clingy and structured” that will go fine with either flats or heels.
Outwardly the designs will have a pronounced retro look with quaint distinguishing touches. The price tags will range from $550 to $900, so the new line will be easier on the purse than Beckham’s previous collections.
