The Sonia Rykiel collection, created by “the red Sonia’s” daughter, Natalie, and shown at Paris Fashion Week, has been claimed “pro-British”. Its main character is a young mischievous child who has just returned to Paris from England where she expanded her collection of sailor vests, traditional tartan skirts, roughly knitted sweaters, and accessories – big scarves, hats, and bags with fringe.
The color-scheme of the models is varied and contains all shades of red, brick-orange, beige, blue, and turquoise colors… The autumn theme is also evident in the decor – the line of dresses which can be called evening dresses is embroidered with appliqués in the form of leaves (any girl will feel a nymph in such a dress!).
