Balenciaga‘s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere has presented his 2010 spring-summer collection at the Paris Fashion Week.
Creating the new collection, Nicolas has moved away from “cocktail party” dresses. The designer said backstage at Hotel de Crillon in Paris that he wanted to make something urban.
His urban and athletic style included jerseys, leather vests, sport skirts, tight pants and patterned jeans, booties with shafts, celtic skirts, and dresses with contrasting and futuristic prints.
