Reuters reports that the tennis player Maria Sharapova has presented revolutionary prototype dress with built-in Bluetooth. This dress lights up as soon as the owner’s cell phone starts ringing.
This summer white dress with short sleeves is decorated from elbow to hip with semitransparent scales. Those scales light up in response to an incoming call.
The high-tech dress was designed by the British fashion design student Georgie Davies. According to her, such clothing is very useful in places where it is hard to hear the ring-tone, for instance in pubs and clubs. The Los Angeles Times writes that Davies created this dress for the most innovative “digital” clothing competition organized by Sony Ericsson.
