Supermodel Claudia Schiffer, who became the fashion designer, has dedicated her new spring-summer 2012 collection to the epoch of the sixties’, or rather to one of the brightest representatives of this period, Jane Birkin.
The supermodel, who is rather successfully testing her skills of a fashion designer, drew her inspiration from the photos of Jane Birkin of the 1960-s. According to Schiffer, while creating her new collection, she tried to imagine Birkin’s wardrobe in Paris, Ibiza, and London. Of course, the new collection included only high-quality items made of fine and soft cashmere that allows the skin to breathe, just like the autumn-winter 2011-2012 debut collection by Claudia Schiffer. The collection was based on the dresses in the sixties’ style: simple and neutral shades, as well as vibrant cocktail dresses.
