We haven’t had enough time to relax after Fall 2012, and Raf Simons has already presented his Pre-Fall 2013 collection, created for Christian Dior.
The well-known Belgian designer defined his style as “New Classics” and made an emphasis on the items with a complex cut. At the same time, he highlighted the images with concise silhouettes. He also noted that he had studied the key codes of the Fashion House with due care and reconsidered them by making a modern twist.
His activity resulted in a line of clothes. On the one hand, it followed the brand’s classic motifs, and on the other hand, it was clearly influenced by the current trends, characterized by minimalism. The key items of the new season include suits with form-fitting jackets and slacks, blouses and coats of an architectural cut, as well as Japanese denim, which young female fans of the brand will definitely appreciate.
According to Simmons, he wanted to create the models that would be suitable to women with different figure types. He seems to have succeeded in doing so.
