The HD3 Complication Black Pearl does actually cost $400,000 and it is certainly doing everything possible to look like a gadget that is worth all that money. Its innards are all but laid open to see for all who enjoy the sight of complex machinery and will marvel at the brilliance of today’s technical achievements. It’s all conservatively stylish in black with enlivening streaks of red, and on the whole one sees at once how much human ingenuity went into designing this gadget.
Anyhow, only 11 of these watches will be out, and it’s still a question whether there will be as many people in the world who will stump up the $400,000 to get it.
