The author of the new diet claims that to lose weight a person should eat as much as possible. However, do not rush to your favorite chocolate cake – it is only true about low-calorie foods.
An American “foodologist,” as she calls herself, Lisa Lillien, wrote a book “A Hungry Girl’s diet”, in which she explained that eating large portions of low-calorie foods helps lose 5 kg (11 lbs) in just a month. You need to give up substantial foods like pasta and bread in favor of tofu noodles and cereal products with lots of fiber. It appears possible to have huge portions and get just 1300 calories a day.
Lisa says the secret of the new diet is to change the wrong products for the right ones. The thing is the reasonable choice. You will be able to cheat on your own brain, which sees large portions of food and gives the body a feeling of satiety, even though you actually eat very few calories. You can use various tricks to increase portion size.
For example, to prepare a “huge portion” of oatmeal Lisa doubles the amount of fluid required for the porridge and increases cooking time. As a result, the portion really looks larger, and satiety comes faster. Lisa also advises to add pumpkin puree to different dishes, as it contains a lot of fiber and adds pleasant taste and texture.
Experienced dietitians have already approved Lisa’s methodology, but she does not consider herself an expert. She says she is an ordinary woman who is struggling with the same problems faced by all women – how to lose weight without starving.
