Before- and after weight loss images are so common that we have all seen them and gaped at them, so impressive some of them are. First, we readily admire the spectacular achievements of these strong-willed people; then we may come round to wondering whether the photos are real. After all, they are made with the aim of promoting companies’ weight-loss techniques and products.


Actually, such photos are very easy to fake. Here is a video revealing one of the simplest ways to do it: you just take care to choose the right (and the “wrong”) lighting and a slightly different angle.

So, the big question is: do these “amazing” photos really relate to the products they are supposed to promote? Actually, there is a known case of a blogger having his legitimate before-and-after pics used for advertising diet pills without his permission.
