Is that another attempt on part of Christina Aguilera to join the list of stars intent on shocking the public with outlandish outfits? Maybe she hadn’t meant it, but she certainly succeeded to!
The 30-year-old singer’s Sunday appearance at the 2011 American Music Awards in L.A. as she strutted onto the stage for Maroon 5’s Moves Like Jagger performance caused quite a stir among ardent bloggers who didn’t miss such an incitement to acid comments. The pop star sported a bandage mini dress by Herve Leger that did more than due homage to her curves and an unexpectedly frizzy hairdo. The effect of the strutting around was enhanced by Christian Louboutin heels a mite higher than your average.
Considering the singer’s waistline, it wasn’t surprising that pregnancy speculations sprang up on Twitter and social network sites… Though it’s rather due to Aguilera’s weight than her second child.
Aguilera’s shape changes have been causing comments for some time, the most memorable being Kelly Osbourne’s jibe back in August. At E!’s Fashion Police she and Joan Rivers had their claws in the Not Myself Tonight singer for her predilection for too-tight dresses that are no longer becoming. “Maybe she is just becoming the fat bitch she was born to be,” Osbourne, 27, was outspoken, thinking back to the time when Aguilera had accused her of being fat.
It seems Aguilera did give her an excuse to be vindictive!
