Lily Allen has a few bits of news for us. First, she made a video for her song The Fear. The video concept was pretty unusual, involving over two thousand people across the United Kingdom. They all sing along with Lily in the video. The music video was directed by Caswell Coggins who came up with the concept and did the editing later. Anyone could sing and appear on the video using special booths scattered on the corners and in night clubs across the country.
This video will probably be the last one for Allen. The singer announced she quits music to focus on her own business, a vintage clothing store, Lucy In Disguise. Lily Allen will give her farewell concert at the O2 arena in London on March 7, 2010. Lily plans to take on her sister, Sarah Owen, as a business partner. Now would-be ex-singer announced her decision to embark on a new career at the Vintage At Goodway festival.
We could hear Allen’s voice again, however, as she sings in the ad for a new Xbox karaoke game, Sing it with Lips.
