Interests seem to be audibly clashing as Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are nearing the wrap-up of their prenuptial agreement. Having married in September, they are still working out the filthy lucre angle, and sparks may fly yet. At least that’s what Radar Online is implying. They had a mouth-to-ear talk with a source close to the couple, and the picture drawn looks fraught with a scrap.
RO’s source has it that the famous Laker is “listening to advisers, and a group of hanger-on friends about what the prenup should include.” Thus he may end up cutting a poor figure! “Lamar needs to man up, and stand up to these people, it doesn’t seem like they have the best interests of Lamar and Khloe as a couple at heart.”
The source sounds sure that such an attitude is clogging up the negotiations which could “be made a lot easier if Lamar would just put his foot down when it comes to Khloe. This is the woman that will be his wife, and Lamar will be sleeping in bed at night with Khloe, not these people.”
At the same time TMZ brings other news. According to them, Lamar and Khloe will soon be through with the agreement. It looks like Lamar’s $33 million contract with the Lakers will remain his property, Khloe declining any demand to that.
On his part Odom signs over to his wife a fixed annual stipend independent of the longevity of their marriage. He is also to cover their mutual expenses by setting up a joint account. Whether they will settle for that or engage in a little family tiff for a fairer deal remains to be seen.
