The Malibu Chili Cook Off and carnival proved to be a very festive occasion for Alyson Hannigan – so much so that as soon as pics of her and her family attending the event appeared on the Internet, she became a primary pregnancy suspect!
But the suspicions are unfounded, folks – she was full of fun and food only.
Seen on Friday photos from the Chili Cook Off, Hannigan, accompanied by husband Alexis Denisof and daughter Satyana, and dressed in a loose-fitting shirt, looks as if she had a sizeable baby bump.
The How I Met Your Mother star took the false assumptions in her stride, admitting that she really looked as if she were carrying a bun in the oven.
But she isn’t pregnant, she had to set it straight via Twitter on Sunday. “I just ate too much carnival food, that time of the month,” she wrote; besides, her back hurt, and she had to keep it straight by pushing her stomach forward.
Also, Hannigan realized that it would be better for her to never wear the shirt that makes her look so unprepossessing!
Assumptions aside, a splendid time was had by all at the Malibu carnival, probably most by her 2-year-old girl Satyana. “Sati won a goldfish on her 2nd try!” gushed the movie star, promising to improve her ping pong throwing to match her daughter’s.
