This year Russia will be striking the Eurovision viewers with originality. The country will be represented by a band of elderly women, Buranovskiye Babushki (translated as Grannies from Buranovo). The grannies competed with Dima Bilan in the national selection and were chosen to perform at the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest in Baku. We will see them in the first semi-final on May, 22.
