A very unusual idea has been selected for Chanel advertisement campaign in the Fall-2011 season.
The author of the idea is Karl Lagerfeld. The key person in Chanel manages almost everything. In particular, he participates in all promotional photos. Karl not only illuminates the brand with fresh ideas, he stands at the photocamera and thoroughly examines the models’ preparation for the shooting.
The new unusual idea is also Lagerfeld’s handiwork. But this time Karl has slightly betrayed his muse, Claudia Schiffer. At least the photo that is being published is made without her. Perhaps there will be some more photos with her participation, but it has not been revealed yet.
Karl was helped by Carine Roitfeld, the stylist and the chief editor of the French version of the Vogue magazine until 2011.
The role of the Catwoman was performed by the model Freja Beha Erichsen.
