Britney Spears has been offered the role of Blessed Virgin. The offer was an advertising move used by “Sweet Baby Jesus” comedy producers to get attention of the public. According to the movie producer Philippe Rebboah, Britney was excited about the perspective to play the mother of Jesus, and she much liked the script.

Her family, though, was very unhappy about it and Britney refused, not wanting to trigger further conflicts. Now the role is taken by Alison Pill. The filming kicks off next year with Steve Bendelack as director.
