Happily married women suffer from sleeplessness and other sleep problems much more seldom, than those women, who experience problems in marriage. This has been discovered by scientists from Pittsburgh University. They have interviewed about 2000 married women, and it has been found, that there is almost a direct relation between the family life and the quality of the night’s sleep.
Any problems in relationships of the couple affect the sleep of the surveyed women in the first place. Conflicts, scandals or even misunderstanding in relationships with the husband can disturb the good night’s sleep of women. It’s also notable, that the described relation is more often present in white women. According to the research, the quality of the sleep of Afro-Americans and Latin Americans depends on the relationships with the husband much less.
