When you’re in love and apart, words do not always suffice. The burning desire for a touch or a kiss gets so intense that you are almost ready to jump out of the good old skin and make a fantastic jump through miles and miles to plant a sweet kiss on your lover’s lips. Well, while you’re not exactly fit to do so, the computer can cover the distance for you. Can we rely on it for transmitting a kiss?
Boffins from the Kajimoto Laboratory at the University of Electro-Communications who are busy with the subject of tactile communications are pretty sure we can. They came up with a gadget that you put into your mouth and move around with your tongue. Controlled by and working through your computer, it makes its fellow gadget that is in your lover’s mouth move in the same fashion.
Of course, this is not enough, but with the feel of the tongue’s moistness, the taste and the breathing thrown in, you may get a fairly strong sensation of the walls of distance tumbling down around you.
There is no word on how much pain it will take from partings, but in terms of sweet dreams it may be something very effective, what do you think?
