The skin is made from spider web and goat milk, and its creator is Jalil Essaidi together with her colleagues from the union of Forensic Genomics Consortium.
The experts collected milk and injected proteins from the web into it, then the milk was mixed with human skin cells. This resulted in a material which, according to the scientists, is ten times stronger than steel.
The plans of the scientists are to create a man invulnerable to bullets by substituting keratin, which is responsible for the strength of the skin, for this web. Jalil Essaidi claims that the researchers can approach this aim, if the bullet-proof net of the web merges with human skin in vitro.
The scientists have also suggested breeding goats that produce milk already with a protein of the web.
