The coffee festival in Sydney will be remembered, among other things, for a highly impressive image of Marilyn Monroe made up from more than 5,000 cups with different kinds of coffee!
A team of artists arranged within a 80 x 65 coffeecup grid an ingenious likeness of the greatest sex symbol of the last century, using lattes, flat whites and long blacks to create an astonishing coffee-spitting image. You can check the likeness on the video.
Working hard at it for several hours on end, coffee talents also tried to mind the issue of wastage. According to the organizers, the artists did their best to pick the milk and the coffee whose expiry date was over or nearing the end, so don’t get thirsty looking at the image!
