Those who happen to want to change their eye color from brown to blue will have to wait about a year until a new laser surgery has been perfected!
Gregg Homer, a Laguna Beach based doctor and head of the Stroma Medical company reported that the company is putting finishing touches on a laser technology that guarantees to change the eye color into blue once and for all. It seems that laser, when adjusted to a particular frequency, will be able to delete the brown pigment on the iris surface. It implies that all brown eyes turn blue once the brown surface has been taken off.
No other color changes are mentioned, and for the time being the new technique is supposed to favor only the brown-eyed – if they agree to have their iris surface laser-treated. Wonder how many will?
