Getter Jaani is an 18-year-old pop singer from Estonia. She gained popularity after the third season of the Estonian version of Pop Idol, where she became the 4th. She was also featured in a Riigimehed TV series in 2010.
Getter Jaani will represent Estonia at the Eurovision 2011 Song Contest with her song Rockefeller Street. The single’s composer, Sven Lõhmus, wrote two earlier Eurovision entries for Estonia in 2005 and 2009.
Getter Jaani is going to perform with two female back vocalists – Marilin Kongo whose back vocals were featured in the 2009 entry Rändajad, and Anna Põldvee, singer and actress. Three male break-dancers Ahti Kiili, Ahto Paasik, and Eghert-Sören Nõmm will also contribute to Jaani’s performance at the Song Contest.
