The working mode which allows the employees to decide the time and place of work judging by their individual needs and job responsibilities has a good effect on family relationships and reduces the risk of conflict between private life and work, as the study conducted at the University of Minnesota, the United States, shows.
The psychologists have had an experiment with the participation of 600 employees who can regularly change the time and place of work without the consent of their employer. The people have got control over time and deadlines of their work and thus began to communicate with their family members more frequently, preventing a conflict between family and work. Divergence from the strict schedule also helped reduce the workforce turnover in the companies.
