There are not many monumental homages to fashion around, so this one does attract attention as a one-of-a-kind thing. It’s a giant Dior purse built up by Shawmut Design and Construction and recently erected in front of the retailer’s flagship on East 57th Street while the store is closed until December.
This fashion accessory measures 20 feet in height by 33 feet in width, with a 10-foot bottom. It’s really a stunning affair that will make the public keep remembering about the store and make its reopening a more illustrious event. Unless by the time they decide that the store had better be transferred inside the purse which will make it all even more unique. People may be saying soon: “I have bought it inside the Purse!” or “I’d better go to the Purse for that!”
