For several years now, the cruise collections from creative designer Chanel have been presented in quite unique locations. This year, the German couturier chose Venice as the location for the Chanel Cruise Collection 2010 runway show.
Lagerfeld came up with very elegant and feminine outfits. Red dresses were designed in the spirit of the Renaissance period. The designer used thin chiffon and lace to create magnificent outfits in vintage style.
Mask-shaped sunglasses and dresses made with golden brocade highlighted the theme of Venice in the show. The designer even included marine theme in some models by adding tops, tunics, and bags with blue-white or red-white stripes.
The shoes presented at the runway were by no means less diverse than the clothing- sandals, high heel shoes, platforms with open toes, and even summer boots.
The Venice cruise fashion runway show from the French fashion house was closed by the famous German model Tatjana Patitz.
