The release of Abduction sadly saw the dissolution of its cast’s high-profile love affair of Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins, coming just a week before the film’s premiere.
As Us Weekly had from a source, the breakup of Lautner, 19, and Collins, 22, even caused uneasy feelings at the film’s party in Los Angeles as the two tried to avoid talking to one another.
The source also let out that “it was a clean break” and that it had been on Taylor’s initiative.
The couple hadn’t been very explicit about their relationship, but it had started off like wildfire, as Lautner spilled to Seventeen at an earlier date. He spoke of instant chemistry that he had experienced at the reading of the script, a bonding that they had both felt.
The source added that after the experience the teen chunky hero wants to stay alone for a while readying himself for moving on.
