While CDs are losing ground to USB storage devices that are far more capacious, erasable, comparatively cheap and handy from all points of view, designers are rejoicing. They could do but little to re-invent CDs and come up with a luxury or quirky model; now with USB devices they can pull as many rabbits out of their hats as they like.
USB storage device by designer Hyun Kim is worth considering – a compact shiny affair that swivels round to open, it’s a cute little thing that will store up whatever you need and look elegant to boot.
