Psychologists: What Makes a Music Hit?

According to American psychologists, 92% of the popular songs contain hidden reproductive messages.

Psychologists Dawn Hobbs and Gordon Gallup from the State University of New York have analyzed the texts of 174 songs from the top ten charts of the Billboard magazine published in 2009.

The scientists believe that the more hidden reproductive messages the lyrics contains, the more popular it becomes. The researchers understood the term of the reproductive messages as a rather wide notion ranging from the actual sexual intercourse and the birth of a child to love, separation, and describing the beauty of the body.
