Litesound is the name of the pop-rock band that will represent Belarus at the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest. The band consists of three musicians: the two brothers Karyakiny from Belarus, and Jacopo Massa, an Italian singer. The brothers met Massa in 2006, at the Maiori International Music Festival, which they won. Then the three started co-working. Litesound have already tried to win the national selection for Eurovision a few times before. This year the attempt has been successful, though after an investigation that revealed fraud in the televote, which automatically made Litesound winners, instead of Alyona Lanskaya.
