An RFID bracelet is being prepared for production that will prevent you from mislaying things you shouldn’t. It is called Re:Collect and it has a number of tags that you can stick on whatever you want not to lose sight of – a bag, a bunch of keys, your cellphone. As soon as you have moved some set distance off your tagged possession the bracelet that is untiringly scanning your environs will start blinking, beeping and vibrating.
The idea is credited to some students at Masters in Design Studies, Central Saint Martins, London University of Arts.
