Who said, wrinkles are good for you? British medics did. They found out that wrinkles, which are bad news in the eyes of any woman, protect them, however, from skin cancer. This discovery was made by an accident. While performing numerous surgeries to treat skin cancer (carcinoma) the medics noticed, that most of the patients had smooth skin on their faces.
The researchers had to examine a huge number of medical reports; the patients were mostly females in their seventies. Finally, they realized, that when the woman has a lot of wrinkles on her face and body, she has half the chances of getting cancer than those who have smooth and beautiful skin. What is the reason behind this? Unfortunately, the scientists have no answer for this question yet.
