American shoe designer Stuart Weitzman has received great privilege. It was recently announced in Spain about the release of new mail stamp featuring a shoe of his design.
For thirty seven years, the shoe maker has been creating his collections at factories in Elda, the shoe capital of Spain. Spanish professionals create more than 600 new models for Stuart Weitzman every year and Spanish government greatly appreciates the designer’s achievements.
Sandals featured on the mail stamp are called Million Dollar Shoe. Laura Harring, who starred in Mulholland Drive, outshined 2002 Oscars wearing the pair of silvery shoes. The sandals adorned with 464 Kwiat diamonds and made using platinum are actually estimated at $1 million.
