Louis Vuitton is getting ready to surprise and astonish its clients with a grand shopping concept – the Louis Vuitton Maison store, designed for the fashion house by recognized architect Peter Marino. It will be the twelfth maison in the world and the first located in Southeast Asia, in Singapore.
LV’s Maison is going to be an island, literally sitting on water, with storey-high windows giving out on the bay. It will have a private lounge, an outdoor loggia, and a tunnel that will house an art gallery of paintings and objets d’art by contemporary masters. It connects the island with the Marina Bay Sands.
The Louis Vuitton Island adds nicely to the company’s 459 stores in 63 countries. Its launching is set for September 18.
