Going by information from different sources, some of which are official, the new girlfriend Jon Gosselin picked up likes to drive on the wild side of life, and then some. She is a New Yorker by the name of Hailey Glassman. She first met Jon Gosselin when she was studying tourism management at Indiana University (2005-2007). Her father is a plastic surgeon, and back in 2006 Kate Gosselin came to him to help her get her tummy back to normal after the Gosselin sextuplets had been born.
By that time Hailey had already had a brush with the police. First she was busted after being seen sharing a marijuana pipe with several other students. Indiana University Police Public Information Officer Capt. Jerry Minger’s lowdown mentions two bags of pot found on her person – an offence for which she had to take a pretrial diversion program, being a first-time drug offender. Five months after her case was closed, in April 2007, she was pulled in again for illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage. Once again by the summer the case folded.
The People magazine unearthed some sources who reminisced about the way of life she led at Indiana University, always caught in full swing of parties and never stooping to maintaining a serious relationship with anyone. “She’s one of those crazy party animals,” was the verdict. “She would probably be that type of girl who would get on top of the bar and start dancing.” Another source noticed her dancing with a stripper at a party.
Hailey also has a reputation for being stylish. “She dresses interestingly,” People quotes. “It’s pretty fashion-forward.”
Altogether Glassman was described as one who flourishes on attention, and now that this partying kid, 22, is seen around with the famous reality TV figure, 32, she’s going to get as much as she wants. Already her 2005 shots were splashed across the Internet after she and the TV celebrity – father of eight – enjoyed their date in Saint-Tropez. And who knows? What with her flair for clothes, she may be soon assisting Jon Gosselin with his project of the kids clothing line for Christian Audigier!
