Walking in the open air enables a person to not only maintain his physical form but also increase his intellectual level.
During researches on the operation of the brain, neurosurgeons from the University of Illinois found its direct dependence on walking. According to the research director Professor Art Kramer, the intellectual level of a person increases if he goes for a walking at least three times a week for 40 minutes each.
As ITAR-TASS reported, the scientists believe that walking activates the activity of the entire brain structure because a person has to respond to numerous external stimuli, the Daily Mail reports.
