A study by the University of Minnesota reveals that you can be relieved from pain by counting cash.
The University students who participated in the study were asked to count strips of black paper or $100 bills. Then, they were asked to dip their hands into very hot water to observe how they would response to pain. Those who counted cash felt less discomfort. Researchers believe that handling cash increases self-esteem and releases endorphins that are known as natural painkillers.
