  1. “Wholegrain” means “made of the whole grain.” The production of such bread and other products retains all the elements of grain: germ, endosperm, and bran with all the useful substances.
  2. Nutritionists say that a woman should eat at least three servings of whole grains daily.
  3. Whole grains promote weight loss. They are lower in calories and better saturated. The women, who regularly eat wholegrain products, are twice less likely to suffer from excess weight.

  7. The biggest difference is observed between refined and whole wheat grain. Its bran concentrates a particularly high amount of nutrients. Therefore, there is no benefit for health if you consume the usual bread.
  8. The cost of whole grain is higher than that of the “purified” analogues. They contain more oil and get spoiled faster, making it difficult to store them.
  9. When buying bread, pay attention to the label. Wholegrain flour should be the first ingredient in the composition of wholegrain bread.
  10. Do not forget to eat “truly” wholegrain foods – unrefined cereals and porridges. Brown rice, light roasted buckwheat porridges. And then you can proudly say that you eat wholegrain products.
