The New Sony Ericsson Cell Phone to Be Kept in a Soap Dish

With an eye for Japanese sense of humor, Sony Ericsson Mobile turned out a new cell phone called Bravia U1 available in three colors – black, red and pale goldenrod. The handset itself is nothing funny, but its Ketaisutando stand made from silicon acrylic looks exactly like a soap dish. Equipped like this it’s not surprising that the handset has a waterproof feature!

The Bravia U1 will be out starting tomorrow; unveiled via the KDDI telecommunications network, it is for sale only in Japan at a price yet unknown.

  1. I’m in a bit of dilema, I’ve had my iphone 3G for the last couple of years and it’s been fine. It’s my understanding that Apple has a new operating system due out called OS 4 and it’s supposed to be adding some new bells & whistles to the iphone. I actually just bought Verizon’s new HTC Incredible the HTC Incredible and it’s a great phone, far superior to the Apple 3G, BUT I’m hearing that Apple is going to be coming out with a completely redesigned new iphone altogether, and it’s supposed to be really nice but no one has any ideas as to when and Apple isn’t saying a thing. Should I keep my HTC Incredible, that I have 30 days to test and give back if I don’t want to keep it, or should I give it back, keep my current apple iphone and wait for the release of the new iPhone- tough to to choose.
