Doulex means to bring more light into our life, in every way possible. After providing us with a pocket light-cum-credit card they moved on to offer some extra romantic lightning on the desktop. Maybe it was an obvious idea - anyhow, their LED light looks very much like a computer mouse.

Nooka, helped by designer Karim Rashid, went to a food store to find inspiration for a new wristwatch and came back with that yummy yoghurt idea. The liquid-looking timepieces have a large circular display where the hour is shown in hexagon-formed digits with the minutes shown in small dashes in the outer ring.

For those interested in Android smartphones here’s a cool one from Sprint coming, a dual-screen Kyocera Echo. A 3.2-inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution display can be moved away to disclose another display with the specs just like the outer one, and together they form a 4.7-inch diagonal touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 960.

Vivienne Tam has come up with a new credit card reader designed using the Square technology (credit cards are accepted by connecting a card reader to a cell phone or iPad). For it she secured the collaboration of the Square co-founder Jack Dorsey, who is also known as the creator of Twitter.

For those who have to solve a problem of getting round with mobile gadgets yet having their typing/keyboard controlling done in full comfort, there’s a new keyboard out. It’s a typical QWERTY affair of a size of 306 x 114mm and you won’t have to squint at it. It’s flexible, which allows for it, once out of use, to be rolled up and tucked away into a bag. Only the material is not silicone, but fabric, providing for a better roll-up ability and maybe making it more pleasant to the touch. Naturally, it’s wireless.
