Exotic Fruits Have Cheaper Analogues

According to the NHS Choices organization, useful properties of exotic products are sometimes highly overestimated.

Exotic products

Nutritionists advise not to look for exotic vitamins and to consume available and useful products: fish, such as salmon and mackerel, green vegetables (broccoli, spinach, and savoy cabbage are very useful), fruits (apples, oranges, peaches and melons), olive oil. Expensive blueberries can be replaced with traditional grapes, which are also rich in antioxidants.

It is useful to have a varied diet rather than focus on one product expecting it to produce a miraculous effect. And chocolate should be eaten with measure: even though it lowers blood pressure, eating too much chocolate threatens with obesity, heart disease and diabetes.

Ursula Arens, the independent nutritionist from the British Dietetic Association, repeats the universal formula of health: “Everyone should eat more vegetables, fruits, fiber and have less sugar, salt, saturated fat, and proteins, whereas the women, approaching menopause, should not forget about iron.”
