The girl is just 10, but her mother already knows that her daughter will never have children. Molly was born with a genetic defect which made her hopelessly sterile. The girl herself doesn’t, of course, understand what her diagnose means, and her mother decided to manage things so that her daughter would never realize all heaviness of sterility.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie were officially divorced on November 21st at the High Court in London. The sitting, attended by the lawyer representatives of each side, was only several minutes long; Guy and Madonna did not attend the divorce session. Papparazi made a mistake of waiting at the building in hopes that Madonna and Guy Ritchie would attend the sitting.

Some rumors say that Jennifer Lopez is desperately trying to get pregnant those days. The actress and singer, 39, gave birth to twins last February and now wants to experience the divine pleasure of motherhood once again. The In Touch magazine's source secretly noted that the doctors recommended Jennifer and Marc to wait at least half a year after the birth before conceiving another baby. Apparently, they are carefully following the doctors' orders and are busy now with the second half - the baby part.

It turned out that our body weight is directly linked to the reproductive power. “Failure” of genetic mechanism responsible for appetite and weight “turns” fertility off. The discovery was made by American biologists. Their study has been published in Nature Medicine Journal. Authors of the article, scientists from Salk Institute for Biological Studies, were studying appetite regulation involving the gene known as TORC1.

The baby’s intellect depends by around 20% on the mother’s environment during the carriage and on the child’s surroundings during the first couple of months after birth. Scientists have recently carried out a number of experiments on the development of intellect during infancy. One particular well-spread belief, that infants get smarter when they listen to classical music, was not confirmed. The scientists did, however, establish that a child’s IQ is affected by the following factors.

French scientists have conducted an international study in seven countries and found, that lack of sleep undoubtedly leads to excess weight. This is explained by the activity of two hormones: Ghrelin responsible for hunger and Leptin reducing appetite. If one sleeps only 4 hours a day during two days running, the secretion of Ghrelin increases y 28%, while Leptin levels reduce by 18%.
