Last week three wombat pups were born at the Australian Wildlife Centre, Healesville, Melbourne. One of the pups received the name Paw Paw because one of his paws was white. When I saw the picture of this cute wombat pup, I decided to tell you a bit about these wonderful animals resembling pigs and rodents at the same time.
Sloth - it seems to me, what this lovely animal does all day long is only chewing leaves and hanging on trees. Scientists also call the sloth Folivora and Phyllophaga, both names mean “leaf-eaters”. Other names that were given to sloth derive from such words as “sleep” and “eat”. After mentioning this fact I don’t need to add anything to describe the character of this animal. Aren’t sloths cute!
I love animals and I adore Animal Planet channel. They broadcast so much interesting and cute stuff. Remember the intelligent dog and talking parrots? This smart pig is as cute and amazing.
I’ve found a great video on YouTube with funny dogs playing, running, jumping, making tricks and all the fun stuff. I should only note that the first one is a very rare dog breed. I guess, the animal was included purely due to its cuteness. Enjoy!

Although it’s not Groundhog’s day today, I decided to share some pictures of groundhogs. These funny rodents can be quite friendly with humans, when raised in captivity, but at the same time they are known to be aggressive. I like them anyway, besides, they look so cute – it may seem, these animals can’t be that bad!
You know the story of little monkey Conchita, who lost her mother and thinks that a teddy bear is her mother. This little monkey on the photo is much luckier – she has a real mother, who loves and takes care of her.
