I am only 20 years old, younger than the age mental abilities are suppose to peak at, and I know I am no where near as smart as my 43 year old mother. My mother keeps up with everything. Mental abilities peak in middle adult hood (40-64). Anyway how old are the scientist that did this study, they need to worry about themselves. This is the most stupidest thing I’ve ever read. They must have been under 27 to be that smart. If you don’t train your brain and don’t develop mentally and emotionally, you are stupid and old as early as 20. Sitting all day long in the office doing the same clerk routine day in day out doesn’t make any better or smart. Or watching TV and chewing chips. Decline in mental abilities in the age of 27 is age or inborn qualities, that’s all about laziness and apathy. I think the scientists should have asked those people about their lifestyle first.
