perhaps the pressures of daily life, finances, work, etc all take their toll on a person when one is trying to dedicate themselves to their family as well. Suddenly the energy levels drop, frustrations creep in, and niggles rear their head. That pre-marital excitement and will to please gets lost when u feel u are now secure.in ur relationship so u take each other for granted. I think communication is key to confronting this.

I guess women get depressed after the wedding because they realize, they finally got what they wanted. I mean, the goal is achieved. What to strive now for?

I’d like to add that young women should not expect that their bridegroom is going to stay the same prince during their entire family life. People change. And unfortunately relationships change, too.

When two are married and live together for a certain period of time they get so much used to each other that they take eath other as granted. This leads to rudeness, lack of mutual respect and disappointment. And this is not far from feeling depressed.
