My Circuitboard City Lyrics – The Wombats

I’ve found a new song by Liverpool band the Wombats. The song’s called “My Circuitboard City”. The release date of this song is 2 March, 2009, so, we’re lucky to be able to listen to it and watch the funny official video already today. I like bands from Liverpool (first of all, the Beatles, of course), I like wombats (cuties!) and I like The Wombats.

The Wombats – My Circuitboard City Song Words

Grandpa George said the heroes are the ones that run away
But I wear no medals I stormed the toilet on my birthday
Welcome to my circuitboard city of yellow and black
We swallow WD40 so our hearts don’t crack
I must admit I need a speedbump
To slow down the high brain

Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back ruin everything
Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back ruin everything tonight
Lets ruin everything tonight

Ive got a note
Ive got a note, from my doctor
So please release me from your average melodrama
Ill throw a spanner in the works
I want more chaos to disorder
Ill throw a spanner in the works
I want more chaos to disorder

Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back, ruin everything
Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back, ruin everything
Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back, ruin everything
Have a dance
Have a drink
Suppress it back, ruin everything tonight

Can’t wait to wallow in self pity
In my circuit board city tonight
I can’t wait to wallow in self pity
In my circuit board city tonight
I can’t wait to wallow in self pity
In my circuit board city tonight
I can’t wait to wallow in self pity
In my circuit board city tonight
