oh god! this happened to me & the guy i was seeing for a few weeks, when we jumped into the sack a little early. by early, i mean, we'd had some beers, we hadn't had any 'safe sex' talk and we were still getting to know each other emotionally. he wasn't nervous at all, but i sure was, because i was starting to fall for him. so, i was inhibited, not ready to throw down and go wild with him yet. the next evening we hung out, we couldn't even talk about it so we just messed around instead. he's my perfect mix of adventurous and playful, but i was too anxious to meet the challenge that night, and i stayed too quiet. he must've thought i was inexperienced (nevermind the years of wild, week long, earth-shaking sex i've had the past). and within a week, he'd stopped calling and then dumped me, saying we were'nt compatible. otherwise, he's a totally sweet guy, big heart, great mind. wtf?! don't most women get a do-over? is this really all it takes to break up a good thing?
