i think if the guy is ok with the habits his woman has then its fine, but when i was dating my husband he’d cringe at the thought of me smoking anything and drinking was totally out of the question.

You used his toothbrush? How disgusting! And you find it a great way for a modern woman to behave? I do find it not very nice for a woman to drink beer straight from the bottle outside. And I will never date a woman who smokes. For me, smoking people are stupid people, and I don’t want to have a stupid woman by my side.

Drinking beer straight from a bottle and smoking?! Are you serious! This is supposed to be a smart (and beautiful) woman’s blog? I guess tattoos would be out of the question. Look, I got a man who likes that I can drink with him, smoke (even though it’s a bad habit and HE does it as well) and the rascal even let me borrow his tooth brush when I forgot mine. I didn’t even have to ask, he just offered it. Not all men like their women from circa 1890…Gimme a break. The bottom line is, a man likes confidence, not so much a Miss Manners Know it All prude.

I have to agree with the person above me. I’ve never heard of anything as ridiculous as being turned off by drinking out of a beer bottle….what about coke bottles….or sprite bottles? Are we just supposed to take a glass w/ us everywhere?! From personal experience….this is NOT true. In fact, I have had guys tell me it’s a turn on that I actually drink beer! When I ask why, the usual response is because it makes them feel more comfortable in their own skin. Secondly, I’ve even had guys tell me its hott if a girl drinks straight out of the milk carton. While I’ve never tried this, nor would I, the obvious lesson is that guys tend to flock around those that they feel most comfortable around.

“Another irritating behaviour pattern is drinking beer outdoors straight from the bottle,” This is probably the most ignorant thing I’ve ever read. We’re not living in the 19th century anymore. If anything, a girl who drinks beer (bottle or can, outside or inside) is attractive in most guys’ eyes. I don’t know where this insanely subjective information came about, but it most definitely NOT true.
