I LOVE your article!!! thank you very much!!! I’ve “asian” type of eyes and I always wanted to enhance them, wanted them to appear a bit bigger – I tried your tips with the green + yellowish Pupa eyeshadows (baked) and it looked fantastic!!! And I don’t feel bad because of the word “asian”. Should people with wide set eyes do? Or should those having close set eyes feel offended that it’s written here this way? That’s everything, but offensive. The author wanted to help you look better and have a nicer eye makeup based on your eye type!!! Is that bad???

Try to apply the eyeliner on the inner part of the eyelid – it makes your eyes look smaller.

i have really big eyes, like really big. my friends always have eye shadow and eyeliner on. but, it never looks good on me so i go out to parties wearing no make-up at all. i hav bags under my eyes. but all i do is sleep, so i dnt even no how they go there. all i want is beautiful eyes. and there is no website that can help me. so im just putting this out there if there is anyone with the same problem?

For anyone reading in the future: Not drinking water is the VERY WORST thing you can do for any physical issues – especially those relating to the skin (swelling or not). Definitely decrease salt intake, as salt acts as a water-retention agent, but water is what we in the medical profesison refer to as the “forgotten vitamin;” many bodily functions/issues can be significantly improved by drinking plenty of water – and don’t worry about the myth that the more you drink the more you’ll have to pee; this is true for only the first few days, and then your body literally soaks up all that water and uses it where it needs it. (And by soaking it up I don’t mean that you’ll retain any of it uselessly – like in your eyelids…). Just wanted to add my two cents – other than that, I think the article was very informative; thanks for the tips.
